
The Florida Digital Media Education Consortium [FDMEC] is a non-profit educational organization, comprised of willing participants from all entities among Florida industry, government and education who are committed to advocacy of excellence in Digital Media education.
For the purposes of the Consortium, Digital Media shall mean “the creative convergence of digital arts, science, technology and business for human expression, communication, social interaction and education.”
FDMEC MISSION
The Florida Digital Media Education Consortium will serve as a focal point and clearinghouse for sharing, researching, developing and deploying effective methodologies, tools, techniques, resources and approaches necessary for excellence in all facets of K-20, post-graduate, inter-generational and lifelong Digital Media education.
