THE CONSORTIUM'S CORE VALUES
The Consortium values all facets of K-20, post-graduate, inter-generational and lifelong Digital Media education. Accordingly, this consortium believes that a coordinated and longstanding effort to advance Digital Media education, consistent with technological advances and industry needs, is necessary to maintain a continuously well-trained workforce.
Further, we believe that success in our mission will rely upon coordinated efforts to encourage the transcendence of institutional barriers and the support of multi-disciplinary programs and initiatives. To those ends, we highly value continuing professional development for Digital Media educators.
Only through such coordination, at all levels of public and private education, can we maximize the reciprocal and mutual benefits to industry, academia and other participants while advocating for learners of all ages.
